Kittens in New Homes

All owners of Raggiestars Kittens are encouraged to keep in touch as there is nothing we love more than to receive pictures of how our little babies have grown and settled in with their new families. Sharing the excitement, joy and magic that a ragdoll brings to a family is a blessing. This page is for us to be able to share some of this magic with all of you.

Raggiestars Bedtime Story & True Blue

These two boys from Belles first litter, were always as thick as thieves together and its been so wonderful to be able to find a family who were willing to take them together. Amanda and her lovely family are enjoying all their crazy antics. These are pictures of the boys from newborn to their first pictures in their new homes. Amanda thank you ever so much for keeping in touch, I cant wait to see how these two grow up.

Narnia

Narnia was our second breeding queen here at Raggiestars and a really special girl with a temperament to die for. Unfortunately, it wasn't meant to be and we had to have Narnia neutered.

For a while she lived as George's companion. At first she was very happy but then when Narnia had been indoors whilst George was " at work", it was getting harder and harder to put her back out. She would cry and that's not Narnia, who is a purring machine from dawn till dusk.

A random call came from a lovely lady Lynn who was looking for an older girl to re-home, I could not let the opportunity for Narnia to have a wonderful pet home where she would get all the love she truly deserves.

Lynn and her family came to meet Narnia and just as everyone does, they fell in love and so as hard as it was for us to let her go. Narnia is now enjoying a wonderful life with Lynn and her family.

We miss her everyday but its such a comfort to see how happy she is. Thank Lynn for the brilliant photos and giving Narnia such a wonderful loving home.

Raggiestars Custard Cream

This is Raggiestars Custard Cream, pet name - Leo. Leo was from Charming's very 1st litter and Angel's last litter, so he is a very special boy to us. Leo has a wonderful new home with Alison, Connor and Becki. He has developed a wonderful bond with Alison's teenager son Connor, following him everywhere and sleeping in his bed (under the duvet, head on Connor's pillow). We love hearing all of Leo's antics, its so nice to share in his new owners excitement. Thank you Ali for keeping in touch, I love the photos and we can't wait to see how Leo continues to grow and change.

Raggiestars Hugo The Boss

Sire: Rosyposy Prince Charming

Dam: Sassena Tiger Lilley

This is our gorgeous little Hugo who has turned out to be a right little boss in his new home with Leo (see above).

Hugo is from Tiger Lilley's 1st litter and is very special to us. Not least of all because he has the most amazing white tip to his red tail. This is the second kitten that Charming is the daddy of, that has a tail tip.

We are so pleased that Ali and her family decided to have Hugo as it means we are lucky enough to get to seem him on a regular basis. We cant wait to see how he continues to grow as he has changed so much already since leaving us.

16th April 2010

Today Ali brought Leo and Hugo over for a photo session with Woozle photography. Both boys behaved beautifully and it was just wonderful for us to see how much they have grown and changed since going to their new home.

Angel & Suki

Suki and Angel are two of our ex-breeding queens who have gone to an excellent new home with my friend Rose and her partner Duncan who live up in the Orkney Islands. It is always hard to re-home one of our girls but we do because it gives them the best retirement possible. In a pet home they have more one-on-one attention and after all they have given us, we feel that they truly deserve this. As a breeder, you cannot keep every girl and continue to breed. If you do in a short space of time you will end up being over-run with 20 plus cats. This is not healthy for the cats or the people living in the house. When we get photos and hear how well our girls are settling in and loving their new home and new owners, we know we have done the right thing. We can not thank Rose and Duncan for giving our girls such a wonderful new home. I know it was a very long hard journey for you and I'm just so pleased you are happy with my girls. Here is an email & photos I have received from Rose who would like me to share it with you all.....

We would like to thank Erika and her family for letting us re-home two of their precious ragdolls. Its been a pleasure to give a home to these two beautiful cats Angel and Suki. They coped with their long journey to their new home really well and have since settled into their new home well.

Angel settled in very quickly and was accepted by the rest of the family, she is such a sweet girl and is loved by all. She is always such a good girl and is never looking for trouble, just a nice spot to relax and so the others accepted her very well. She still loves her food and makes the sweetest noises at food time, we now couldn't imagine not having her around.

Suki was fantastic on her journey home and continued to do well once we got a home. We did a have a few problems at the beginning but with help and support as well as excellent advice from Erika she is now doing brilliantly. Suki is a very happy girl and we love her dearly, she is very close to Angel and you can often find them together or with the other ragdoll of our family Huggy Bear. Suki is the kitten of the family, not by age as she is in fact the oldest but by nature. She loves to play with everything she finds and acts like a typical kitten.

Thanks to Erika and family for our new members of our family, they have been with us since the end of January and its now July and life couldn't be better. Both girls are happy and settled and love the rest of the family, especially the dog Harley. We've sent a few photos which I'm sure a few will be shared below.
