Show News
I am totally hooked on attending Cat shows. They are a great place to meet like minded people. Its a fab day out that the whole family enjoys.

PRBCC Cat Show - 17th July 2010
Today I entered Charming and Smudge into the Progressive Ragdoll Cat Club Show. As always it was a lovely day. Its was fantastic to see all the Ragdolls and well done to the club for a wonderful show yet again. Looking forward to next year. Charming was placed 1st in his Open Class and awarded his 2nd CC! He was also placed 1st in one of his side classes.

Smudge also did very well, getting 1st place and awarded a CC which is brilliant for her 1st ever show. Smudge was also placed 1st and 2nd in her side classes. What an amazing day! Can't wait for the next show!

Celtic Cat Club Show - 19th June 2010
Today I entered Charming in the Celtic Cat Show in Chepstow. It was lovely to be back at my local show and getting Charming back out on the show bench.

He was a little uncomfortable but handled the hussle and bussle of the show well - although I don't think he was impressed with the heat and it was a very long day for him. He was awarded 1st place and a CC in his Open Class and was also placed 1st and 3rd in side classes. I am so proud of my boy, and can't wait to get him back out again soon.

The British Ragdoll Cat Club Show - 18th April 2010
Today I entered Edward into the TBRCC cat show in Stoneleigh. This was the 1st time I had been to this show and it was definitely worth travelling for. I loved seeing so many ragdolls in one show. I had such a wonderful day, especially as I was asked to steward. Judge Phillpa Holmes, I would like to thank for having a great laugh and I would love to steward for you again.

Edward did really well considering this was his first ever show - he took everything in his stride and loved having cuddles with everyone. I have to be honest though, I think the highlight for Edward was that he got to see his other mum - Lynn from Hollygram.

Edward was just into the adult class (at nine months and 2 days old). He won 2nd place - being beaten by a worthy 6 year old boy. Edward was also placed 2nd in 3 side classes and 3rd in 2 others. These were all big classes and I'm really proud of him. The end of the day was made even better when Edward was awarded the TBRCC Ragamour Trophy for Best In Show Mitted Adult! What a day! I can't wait until next year's show.
Judges Report - Mrs P Wilding with Many Thanks

Bristol & District Cat Club, 18th April 2009
Today I entered Charming and Mia into the Bristol Cat Show in Thornbury. It was a lovely day and the show was so smoothly ran for such a large show, again with such an amazing turn out of Ragdolls. It was far too hot though in the show hall, I did feel for all the cats as I couldn't stand to be in there more than a couple of minutes. So well done to all the judges and show staff as I think you've all earned an endurance award for today.
Charming was just barely old enough for this to be his first adult class in which he was placed 2nd. Doing us proud, he was totally relaxed and padding away all day. Nothing bothers our boy, he just takes everything in his stride.

This was also Mia's first ever show, and seeing as how she is totally obsessed with our eldest son Ethan, it was only fair that he got to take her to her first show. Ethan had a lovely day, thoroughly enjoying himself and was so pleased to take home Mia's 3rd place rosette for her Open Class. Mia loved soaking up all the attention - showing her total Diva nature.

Here's is Mia's Show Photos taken with thanks to photographer Robert Fox
Shropshire Cat Show - 7th February 2009
Today we entered the Shropshire Cat Show. It was a huge show, and despite the severe weather conditions, it was brilliant to see another show with such high numbers of Ragdolls entered. Well done to all the other competitors like us for braving the weather and making the show such a success. Also to the Shropshire Cat Club, Judges and all those helping out, who despite being down a large number of judges, still managed to give us a wonderful show and end it early enough so that we could all make it home before the next wave of snow came in. Thank you xx
This was Tiger's first show, I am so proud of how she handled it. She took everything in her stride. Unfortunately, she wasn't placed but we're not deterred as it was large Open Class full of beautiful girls, I would not have liked to have been the judge trying to decide between them all. My friend Kate at Ragvale had a wonderful day with both her girls and boy doing amazingly, congratulations Kate, it definitely made the chaos of travelling up on Friday worth it.
Now we know Tiger enjoys the showing scene, we have decided we are going to let her have a litter of kittens in the next couple of months and try her again at the end of the year.

17th January 2009 - West Country Cat Show
First show of 2009 for us and what a show! There was loads of entries which was brilliant. It was wonderful to see that many Ragdolls on the show bench. I hope all the other entries enjoyed themselves as much as we did.
We entered Charming for his first show and we are very pleased with how he handled everything. Still very much a baby, he just wanted to be cuddled but once the day progressed he settled down and was totally chilled out, padding and purring his little heart out. He came 3rd in his Open class so he had nice rosette to come home with. All though not placed in his two side classes, they were classes of 10 and other semi-longhaired breeds included in them so we're not bothered. Today was purely to give Charming the opportunity to get to see if showing was something he'll enjoy. We are so pleased he did and are really looking forward to the future and continuing his showing career for as long as he enjoys it.

Hope you enjoy the slideshow of photos from the show. With special thanks to photographer Robert Fox for the gorgeous professional photos.

14th July 2008
Just had a show report in for Belle in relation to her first show at Chepstow.
Judge Mr Gillson - who I must say a big thank you for taking the time and giving me his advice on Belle as always Mr Gillison you are a star!
Maiden Adult Class
2nd Place - A nicely shown young lady who was not in the best of moods today, perhaps the heat was getting to her. Her silky coat showed nice length, the pale colouring on her body, off setting the blue of her mask and points. A flat plane to her forehead, nicely shaped blue eyes and good cheeks and muzzle.

Show Reports
We have had some show reports in.

Seal point ragdoll with deep seal mask, points and tail but today his coat was quite short and dark.

Wiltshire and District Show - 5th July 2008
Today we entered Belle into the Wiltshire and District's 10th Anniversary Cat Show and we had a lovely day.
This is the biggest show I've been to so far but it was full of wonderful people and it was so nice seeing all the gorgeous cats.
Unfortunately I forgot my camera (silly me) so no pictures of this show which is a real shame so you'll have to make do with a picture taken at the Celtic show by the photographer, Robert Fox. Belle did well getting 3rd in her Open Class although she was back in season again and just wanted to spend all day making love to her tail! She really is a character.

We are going to give Belle a break now so she can have some kittens which she seems desperate for but we are hoping to get her back out on the show bench next year. So now we look forward to showing our new little girl and of course waiting on those all important show reports to come in.

Celtic Cat Show - Chepstow - June 21st 2008
Belle's 1st show - and she did really well!

2nd Place in Open Class, (class of 4 - including one Grand Champion)
Side Classes
1st Place - Debutante Adult (class of four)
2nd Place - Maiden Adult (class of five)
2nd Place - Novice Adult (class of five)
3rd Place - Adolescent Adult (class of 11)
3rd Place - Junior Adult (class of five)
3rd Place - Non Breeders Adult (class of five)
I'm so proud of her. The Celtic Show is always a lovely show and this year was no different. Belle was a little grumpy and unsure although you wouldn't think so now she is home.

Well done to all the other entries - it was a wonderful day :)

Bristol & District Cat Club - February 2008
This was Wicket's first show in the Adult Neuter Class. It's been a while since he was last at a show but he behaved beautifully and thoroughly enjoyed all the attention.
Here are his results.
Open Class - 3rd out of 4
Semi Longhaired Neuter Not Bred By Exhibitor (Male) - 2nd out of 8!!
Debutante Neuter - 2nd out of 3
Maiden Neuter - 1st he was the only one entered - bless him
Adolescent Neuter - 3rd out of 6
Junior Neuter - 3rd out of 8!
Despite Wicket having a wonderful day - we have decided to give him a break from shows until the end of the year as to allow him to mature as he is now in the Adult Classes and we feel he is still very much a baby.

Well done Wicket, you are a star!

August 2007 - Wicket's 1st show
We entered Wicket into his first show at the West of England & South Wales Cat Society Show.
Wicket loved every moment of all the attention and was totally at ease. Here are his results.

Semi Longhaired Kitten (Male) - 2nd out of 5
Non Breeders Kitten (Male) - 1st out of 5
